I bought a hummingbird cake for a rehearsal dinner, and it was a huge hit! I set it on the table, and before I knew it, the whole thing was gone. Everyone absolutely loved it—the frosting and the level of sweetness were just perfect. I can’t wait to order another one!

AbbyCakes baked a cake for my husband's 60th birthday party! The guests could not stop talking about the cake! It was a 4-layer cake with diffferent flavors for each layer: banana caramel, cookie butter, marble, and vanilla. All of them were delicious! Get an AbbyCake! You will be glad you did!
okay i ordered a cake a week before my birthday and i was even able to pick it up a couple of hours before my initial pick up time. I did have to wait a bit when i got there (only because i requested to pick it up early) , while i was waiting, her husband (the guy at the front) and i had great conversation , made me feel very welcomed and i would come back just to have another funny conversation. now onto the cake, the cake was great, every little detail i asked for was correct, the flavor…. DELICIOUS. I refrigerated the cake, tasted great, i accidentally left the cake in the car overnight and the cake still tasted amazing. a couple days later i still have some of the cake AND IT STILL TATES GREAT. ♾️/10, i love this place and the atmosphere , ms abby was a fun person to work with and im glad i could get the exact cake i wanted and im glad i could give her a challenge. I have and will continue to recommend this place to people because i just love it so much. i will be ordering cakes from here until my funeral!!
Ordered my wife's birthday cake from Abby. My wife is from Okinawa and has dairy allergies, so a cake can be complicated for her. Abby and her husband were great to work with and were able to provide a non-dairy frosting. My wife loved her cake.
Fantastic treats at great prices. Their Tres Leche with strawberries is like biting into a sweet cloud! It has just the right balance. The cheesecake had a fantastic smell and wonderful texture. Every bite of the almond cake just smelled and tasted so dreamy! You should share, but you will want to keep it all to yourself! They very friendly and we're great to talk about where to visit locally and football!
They made a NEW Guava Quesitios and for myself, not being into Guava, this pastry is by far my favorite. Might even surpass their tres leche and thats saying a lot! They have a small and a bigger one for the Guava. And honestly, worth every penny! Definitely coming back for more. Btw! It has Guava and cream cheese for those who may not know what it was.
Best bakery ever and best gluten free bakery ever. I called mid morning on Saturday after just coming unexpectedly to Norfolk and needing a Gluten Free cake for my 21st the next day. They met all my needs and made a beautiful espresso flavored cake for me. They had it done by 5pm because I ordered it last minute for same day pick up. It tasted incredible. It made my Bday special and accommodated my gluten free needs. I couldn’t even tell it was gluten free, it was so good. I am beyond thankful to them and would 100% go back again and order from them again.
